The [[KIA|KIA Illuminated Adepts]] community and its websites are evolving.  This KIAwiki project was the second major web-based project undertaken by KIA.  The first was the old KIA forum.  The latest project for KIA is the addition of social networking capabilities of the [http://network.kiamagic.com KIA network], and the introduction of a [http://network.kiamagic.com/mod/vanillaforum/vanilla/ new KIA forum] to replace the old one.

Following on the lead of the Open Source Movement and in particular Open Source Religion and The Open Source Order of the Golden Dawn, KIA is now formally announcing itself as a movement for [[Open Source Sorcery]].  The goal is complete freedom of information pertaining to sorcery, magic, magick, witchcraft and related arcane activities and disciplines, allowing them to mutate and evolve freely in ways that the secrecy of closed hierarchical orders can never allow.
