Free Cultural Sorcery

Whilst many see open source as a good thing, others see it as not going far enough, and have labelled a subset of open source as being 'Free Cultural Works'. With this in mind I have decided to launch a movement for Free Cultural Sorcery as a stricter sub-movement of Open Source Sorcery. This shall be a subset of the Open Source Sorcery movement dedicated to releasing art, film, text, rituals, theories etc on licenses that qualify as being a Free Cultural Work.

This wiki has been a part of this movement, and as such all contributions are made in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike License.

All the KIA Logos are released on the same license. This allows anyone so inclined to set up their own KIA websites using my logos either in their original form or modified to the new webmasters needs. Providing they make it clear that the logo, modified or unmodified, is also released under the same license. They are free to run such websites completely independent of this one, although they are invited to interact.

These logos are made by combining the official logo for the Definition of Free Cultural Works by Marc Falzon with symbols representing various currents within occulture. A couple of examples are shared below...

Free Cultural Magick

This symbol combines the Free Culture symbol with Crowley's Unicursal Hexagram, and can be used to denote material related to Magick, Thelema, Crowley released on a license that qualifies as a Free Cultural Work.

Free Cultural Chaos Magic

This symbol combines the Free Culture symbol with the Sigil of Chaos, and can be used to denote material related to Chaos Magic released on a license that qualifies as a Free Cultural Work.
