Currently the hosting costs are not large, and Anton is quite happy to cover them, but he would also like to offer more services on the kiamagic.com domain, such as free blogs on subdomains, and such services could incur increased costs through demands on bandwidth etc. Recently he toyed with the idea of charging a modest fee for the service, but has since reconsidered on the basis that he doesn't want to run the site on capitalist principles. This site and all its services are a gift to the community. As such, any contributions by the community will be gratefully recieved, and Anton will set up sites on subdomains for those that want and deserve them as gifts, as his time and finances allow. Priority will be given to those who have contributed most in terms of time, money or other resources towards helping to build the community of Free Cultural Sorcery, both on kiamagic.com and other websites that build on that goal.

Hopefully this will be a successful implementation of a Free Gift Economy within the Free Cultural Sorcery community, and also help to encourage more Free Cultural Works on occult themes.

First step is declare at which version of KIA you first joined...

• KIA0: means you were part of the chaosmagic.com forum thread in which the idea for the KIA group was formed in late 2000.  (Add a * if you took part in the Feb 09 2001 Birth Rite.)
• KIA1: The original yahoo mailing list. (Add a * if you remember when it was just a regular mailing with a membership list and no actual discussion.  Add an ! if you remember when yahoo deleted the first one and Jaq D Hawkins had to set up a new one).
• KIA2: The first web based KIA forum, hosted on the proboards.com. This ran concurrently with the yahoo group for a while. (Add a * if you never joined the yahoo group).
• KIA3: With this version, I finally decided it was time to host the forum on kiamagic.com itself. 
• KIA4: Vaguely defined as since the name and logo change from Kaotic Illuminated Adepts to KIA Illuminated Adepts, and the introduction of wiki and social networking features.
• KIA5: This current incarnation of KIA, from May 2009 onwards.
